Spotify is finally giving users more insight into their listening habits with a new feature called “Listening Stats.” The feature, rolling out globally, shows users weekly summaries of their top artists, songs, and key listening moments.

Previously, listeners had to wait until Spotify Wrapped at the end of each year or use third-party apps like Last.fm to see their music data. Now, with Listening Stats, users can view weekly highlights and share them on Instagram, WhatsApp, or directly with friends via Spotify’s in-app messaging system.

Spotify says the feature will also celebrate special moments such as milestones and new discoveries, and users can generate playlists based on their recent favorites.

To access the stats, users simply tap their profile image, then select the “Listening Stats” tab. The new feature is available to free and premium users in over 60 countries, with Spotify confirming that its popular annual Wrapped recap will continue.

While this update makes it easier to monitor listening habits regularly, some users might miss the surprise factor that Wrapped traditionally delivers each year.
