Bevel, a New York–based health tech startup, has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by General Catalyst to scale its AI health companion, a platform designed to unify data from wearables, fitness apps, and nutrition trackers into personalized health insights.

The company aims to solve a growing problem in modern wellness tracking: scattered health data. While most people rely on multiple apps and devices to monitor sleep, steps, or calorie intake, few tools integrate this information to reveal how it all connects. Bevel’s AI system brings these elements together, helping users better understand their overall well-being.

Following a breakout year, Bevel reports an eightfold growth and now serves over 100,000 daily active users, boasting 80% retention after 90 days, an impressive feat in a sector where users often lose interest quickly.

“We think of health as a continuous journey, not a phase,” said Grey Nguyen, Bevel’s co-founder and CEO. “Bevel meets you where you are, learns from your habits, and helps you make small changes that compound over time.”

Unlike competitors such as Whoop, Oura, and Eight Sleep, Bevel’s approach is software-first, meaning users don’t need to purchase expensive hardware. “A $500 ring or band is out of reach for a lot of people,” said Aditya Agarwal, co-founder and board member. “We wanted to make something more accessible across a larger set of people.”

Priced at $6 monthly or $50 annually, Bevel integrates with popular wearables like the Apple Watch via Apple Health, and directly connects to glucose monitors such as Dexcom and Libre, with Garmin and other integrations in development.

At the heart of the platform is Bevel Intelligence, the company’s core software that analyzes user data and delivers adaptive health recommendations. By learning how each body responds to sleep, stress, movement, and nutrition, the app offers guidance that evolves with individual behavior.

Bevel’s origin stems from personal experience. Nguyen’s own struggle with chronic back pain, caused by compounding lifestyle factors, led him to realize how fragmented health data could hide the real issue. His co-founder, Ben Yang, and board member Agarwal (former Dropbox CTO and early Facebook engineer) shared similar experiences and joined forces to build a smarter, more holistic solution.

With this funding round, Bevel plans to expand its team and form new partnerships to make proactive health more accessible.

“Bevel’s mission to democratize health through intelligence and design deeply resonates with us,” said Neeraj Arora, Managing Director at General Catalyst. “The level of engagement they’re seeing from users is remarkable, it’s becoming part of people’s daily lives, not just another app.”

Bevel’s next phase will focus on growing its platform’s intelligence and reach, aiming to redefine how people understand and manage their health every day.
