Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Digital and ICT, Hon. William Kabogo Gitau, met with the Israeli Ambassador, H.E. Gideon Behar, earlier today in Nairobi to discuss enhancing digital and technological collaboration between the two nations.
The meeting focused on expanding cooperation in key areas such as cybersecurity research, technology exchange, and digital skilling, all central to Kenya’s push for a knowledge-driven economy. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to leveraging technology to strengthen economic and innovation ties.
Discussions also explored opportunities for joint innovation and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) ventures, creating new pathways for business growth and employment. Hon. Kabogo highlighted that as Kenya continues to expand its digital infrastructure, the government aims to collaborate with global partners to equip citizens with the digital skills needed to thrive in the evolving economy.
