Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has partnered with Mastercard to launch the Click to Pay service, becoming the first bank in Qatar to offer this feature to its Mastercard cardholders.

Click to Pay enables users to register once and complete online transactions using a unique identifier such as an email or phone number, without repeatedly entering card details. Customers can activate the service via the QIB Mobile App or directly on participating merchants’ websites.

The feature supports biometric authentication and replaces sensitive payment information with encrypted digital tokens, enhancing both speed and security.

QIB’s General Manager of Personal Banking, Mr. D. Anand, highlighted the bank’s commitment to digital innovation, stating, “This achievement reflects our commitment to leading digital innovation and delivering secure, simpler and faster payment experiences.”

With over 320 features, the QIB Mobile App continues to expand its role as the preferred digital banking platform in Qatar, giving users full control over their accounts, cards, and transactions.
