Family safety app Life360 is expanding into the pet tech market with its new Pet GPS, a smart tracking device that attaches to a pet’s collar or harness. The device delivers real-time location updates for dogs and cats, providing peace of mind for pet owners.

Priced at $49.99, the Pet GPS is Life360’s most advanced product yet. It features geofencing, escape alerts, and access to a Pet Finder Network with over 88 million members, allowing nearby users to assist in locating lost pets.

The tracker uses cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth for precise location accuracy, updating every 2 to 4 seconds when the pet is away from home. It also includes a built-in light for nighttime visibility and a chime function to help owners call their pets.

With an IP68 rating, the Pet GPS is water-resistant, dustproof, and bite-resistant. It offers up to 14 days of battery life, extendable to six months in Bluetooth Reserve Mode.

Available in pink, navy, and black, the Life360 Pet GPS is on sale in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Full functionality requires a Gold ($14.99/month) or Platinum ($24.99/month) subscription.
