Afriex, a global fintech platform, has partnered with Visa, the world leader in digital payments, to deliver real-time cross-border transactions across more than 160 markets.
Through the integration of Visa Direct via Afriex’s financial institution partner, the platform will now allow individuals and businesses to send and receive funds faster and more securely across borders.
This collaboration enhances Afriex’s mission to make international payments more accessible and affordable, leveraging Visa’s global network to increase reach and reliability.

According to the World Bank, remittances to low- and middle-income countries reached $669 billion in 2023, highlighting the growing need for faster and more transparent cross-border solutions.

The new integration is already live and available to users through the Afriex mobile app, offering a seamless experience for global money transfers.
