Airbnb is rolling out fresh updates aimed at making travel more social and intuitive. The platform now lets users connect with fellow travelers who join the same Airbnb Experience, such as cooking classes or guided tours, fostering new friendships beyond their trips.

Travelers can see participants’ names and countries, share photos afterward, and keep in touch through a new Connections tab in their profiles. Users maintain full control over privacy, with the option to limit what personal details they share or block unwanted interactions.

Airbnb is also improving search. The new feature displays properties that fall just outside user-set filters, like slightly higher prices or nearby locations. This helps travelers discover listings they might have missed.

Additionally, the redesigned Maps view now highlights landmarks, attractions, and restaurants near listings, giving users a better sense of the area before booking.

The company’s AI-powered assistant, first launched in the U.S., is expanding to Mexico and Canada with multilingual support for English, Spanish, and French. The chatbot now offers more personalized help and quick options for actions like cancellations or date changes.

These updates mark Airbnb’s continued push to make its platform more engaging and travel planning more seamless.
