Zoom Communications, Inc. and NVIDIA have announced a partnership to deliver faster, smarter, and customizable AI experiences for enterprise users. The collaboration will integrate NVIDIA Nemotron open technologies into Zoom’s federated AI architecture, supporting the new AI Companion 3.0.
The system introduces a next-generation hybrid language model that routes queries between Zoom’s proprietary Small Language Models (SLMs) and a fine-tuned Large Language Model (LLM), enabling both high-speed responses and deep reasoning.
Zoom’s AI Companion now benefits from NVIDIA’s advanced AI infrastructure and a new 49-billion-parameter LLM developed using NVIDIA NeMo tools. This design optimizes speed, cost, and accuracy for industries where data privacy is crucial, including finance, healthcare, and government.

The partnership enhances interoperability, allowing AI Companion to integrate with tools like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, and Salesforce. Both companies say the collaboration accelerates AI innovation and enterprise readiness.
Zoom also reaffirmed its commitment to responsible AI, emphasizing that it does not use customer content, such as audio, video, chat, or shared files, to train its models or those of third parties.
