Egyptian startup Nanovate is emerging as one of the most focused Arabic-first AI automation companies in the Middle East and North Africa, building tools designed for organisations that want technology aligned with their language, culture, and operational reality.

Despite Arabic being spoken by more than 400 million people globally, less than 3% of AI tools offer native Arabic support. This gap has pushed many regional businesses to rely on English-based solutions, a limitation Nanovate is now addressing directly.

Founded in January 2024 by Nancy Madbouly and Ahmed Gamal, the startup is constructing an end-to-end AI ecosystem capable of understanding and responding across 22 Arabic dialects. The company positions itself at the application layer of AI, offering a no-code platform that enables enterprises to build AI voice agents, chat agents, and automated workflows integrated across WhatsApp, websites, mobile apps, and CRMs.

Nanovate’s tools are currently used across sectors like e-commerce, real estate, healthcare, food and beverage, and education, delivering practical automation and AI-powered customer support. Its core capabilities include end-to-end automation, custom AI solutions, AI voice/chat agents in Arabic and English, and sector-specific integrations.

The startup recently secured US$1 million in early-stage funding from regional and international angel investors. It has also completed accelerator programmes with MINT Incubator (EG Bank) and Raya FutureTECH.

Within its first five months, Nanovate generated over US$10,000 in revenue, signed more than 10 paying clients, and has over 30 more in onboarding. Early adopters say the platform’s natural Arabic communication and alignment with regional business processes are major advantages.

While headquartered in Egypt, Nanovate is expanding into key GCC markets, with clients already in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and is developing partnerships in Sweden for research and development of Arabic AI models.

By 2026, the company aims to become the leading Arabic-first AI platform in MENA. Analysts say Nanovate’s traction highlights a growing trend, the next generation of major AI platforms in the Middle East will likely emerge from within the region itself.

Nanovate’s focus on Arabic-first AI makes it a critical enabler for businesses long reliant on English-centric tools. Its ability to operate across dozens of dialects makes it especially valuable in sectors where accurate communication influences trust and decision-making.

As more companies prioritise workflow automation and AI-driven customer experience, Nanovate’s no-code, enterprise-friendly approach positions it as a potential standard-setter in Arabic AI innovation.
