Lithuania-based startup Nexos.ai has raised €30 million ($35 million) in a Series A round led by Index Ventures and Evantic Capital, just months after emerging from stealth with $8 million.

Founded by Nord Security co-founders Tomas Okmanas and Eimantas Sabaliauskas, Nexos.ai helps companies securely integrate AI tools by serving as a neutral intermediary between employees and AI systems.

The platform aims to prevent sensitive data leaks caused by employees unknowingly uploading corporate data to large language models (LLMs). Acting as a “Switzerland for LLMs,” Nexos provides both an AI Workspace for employees and an AI Gateway for developers, managing security, compliance, and costs while providing access to over 200 AI models.

The new funds will accelerate Nexos’ product development and expansion across Europe and North America, focusing on regulated industries and organizations with strict data governance requirements.

Okmanas says Nexos.ai is already conducting over 50 demo calls weekly and has clients including Payhawk and startups in the Tesonet portfolio. “Boards may still debate AI’s value,” he said, “but we’re showing that secure AI adoption can save millions.”
