X announced on Tuesday that its Verified Organizations program is getting a major update, splitting into two new paid tiers, Premium Business and Premium Organizations.

The Premium Organizations tier, marked with a grey checkmark, is designed for governments and multilateral organizations. Meanwhile, Premium Business subscribers will receive a gold checkmark, along with tools aimed at helping businesses drive visibility and credibility on the platform.

There are three levels under the Premium Business plan, Basic, Full Access, and Enterprise.

  • Basic ($200/month): Includes essentials for business presence on X.
  • Full Access ($1,000/month): Adds features like affiliate badges, impersonation defense, fast support, and access to priority handles.
  • Enterprise (custom pricing): Offers advanced tools and personalized account management.

Subscribers will also gain access to SuperGrok, hiring tools, real-time industry monitoring, and an upcoming marketplace for “high-value handles.” Businesses can also claim inactive handles or buy premium ones.

X says that for a limited time, organizations can get back 100% of their subscription fees in ad credits.

Seth Fuchs of X Engineering described the update as a move to help organizations “grow directly on the world’s town square.”

The changes come as X continues efforts to diversify revenue streams amid a challenging ads market.
