The Unicode Consortium has confirmed its latest batch of emojis, set to roll out to devices in 2025. The nonprofit, which ensures emojis appear consistently across iOS, Android, and other platforms, has given the green light to a fresh slate of icons that range from practical to whimsical.

Among the newcomers are a trombone, a treasure chest, a bulging-eyes face, a fight cloud, an apple core, an orca whale, a gender-neutral ballet dancer, a landslide, and even Bigfoot.

The update also introduces expanded skin tone options for multi-person emojis, such as the dancing people with bunny ears and the wrestling duo.
